Go climbing and abseiling in Sussex!

Spend the morning climbing on the sandstone rocks of Sussex and the afternoon whizzing down the vertical face of the purpose built abseil tower!

If you've ever wanted to try climbing then do it outdoors and you’ll be hooked. Don't worry, the session will be tailored to your ability and aspirations, but for a true sense of freedom and achievement outdoor climbing beats indoor climbing hands down.

And after climbing in the morning, you can spend the afternoon whizzing down the purpose built 30ft abseil tower. Here you can learn the basics of abseiling, confident in the knowledge that you are attached to a safety rope.

You can up the adrenaline even more if you want though and try it blindfolded!

On arrival at the venue you will be met by your instructor, who will conduct a full safety briefing.

It is then time to get kitted up with all the safety gear before you begin climbing. During your session you will cover knots and belaying, safety awareness, climbing technique, climbing etiquette, introduction to climbing and bouldering.

Because of the soft nature of the rocks you can not abseil on them as it causes too much damage, so a short 20 minute drive will take you to a 33ft purpose built abseiling tower, where you will cover abseiling techniques, confidence tests and - if you want - blindfold abseiling.

You will be fully supervised by an instructor throughout the day.

This experience will last for approximately seven hours, including briefing time and the issuing of safety equipment.

On purchasing this experience you will be issued with a voucher valid for 10 months.

The minimum age for this experience is 18 and the weight limit is 16 stone. All participants must be in reasonable health and able bodied.

There will be a maximum of 12 climbers per session.

Participants are advised to wear loose fitting clothing and all specialist clothing and equipment will be supplied on the day.
