VISIT THE MAGIC OF WALT DISNEY AT DISNEYLAND RESORT PARIS

Visit Disneyland Paris

Disneyland Resort Paris is the number one tourist destination in Europe and no wonder.

It is the dream of every kid (including big kids) to visit Disneyland and with Euro Disney just a short flight or train journey away there is no excuse not to go!

Disneyland Paris incorporates two theme parks, seven themed hotels and a range of dining and entertainment options. The resort also features the Disney Village entertainment and shopping complex and Golf Disneyland, a 27-hole golf course!

It is the most modern Disneyland theme park in the world and also the largest. Many visitors also say it's the best!

The Magic Kingdom is 138 acres of Disney magic divided into five theme lands: Main Street USA, Frontierland, Adventureland, Fantasyland and Discoveryland. And close by is the second theme park, Walt Disney Studios Park.

Top Disneyland Paris tips!

Allow three to four days to truly experience the magic of Disneyland Paris. Stay in a Disney hotel if possible - it really will add to the experience.

Arrive early and always half an hour before the published opening time. If the park opens at 9.00 be there for 8.30.

Go to the most visited attractions early. Big Thunder Mountain, Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, Space Mountain and Peter Pan quickly attract large numbers and the waiting time by 12.00 can be in excess of two hours at peak times.

Make use of the recently introduced ‘Fastpass’ system. Using this system, you can visit a ride and, if there’s a long queue or you just don’t fancy waiting, insert your passport and a little ticket will print out, giving you a one hour ‘window’ in which to return. You can return at any time during that hour and you’ll go straight to the head of the queue.

Ride during the parades; most people line up for half and hour prior to the parades and the queues at the rides diminish sharply.

That said, definitely watch a parade!

People will position themselves for the fireworks very early - at about 9.00pm when the fireworks start at 10.00pm. During this period you can often walk onto otherwise busy rides.

Finally, bear in mind that the WDStudios close at 6.00pm each evenng, so there will normally be a signifcant exodus towards the Magic Kingdom around that time.
