Your lesson will last 15 minutes and during the flight you will be given the opportunity to take the controls if you wish.

This nostalgic flying experience is the only way to really appreciate the freedom of the skies offered by this wonderful classic aircraft, the Tiger Moth.

The Tiger Moth was used as the primary training plane for RAF and other Commonwealth pilots from the 1930s onwards and was used by the RAF until 1952.

After a briefing on the principles of aviation it's time to don your goggles and flying jacket for a 15 minute flight of a lifetime.

All flights are taken by expert pilots who are experienced instructors and all aircraft have dual controls.

You will be allowed to fly the plane secure in the knowledge that you have expert assistance should you need it.

If you are happier to fly as a passenger just sit back and enjoy it!

On purchasing this experience you will be issued with a voucher valid for ten months for a weekday 15 minute Tiger Moth flight . Most locations operate April to September.

There is no minimum age requirement but you must be at least 4’11 tall. The maximum weight is 16 stone.

You should be in good health and be agile as embarking and disembarking is difficult and requires flexibility.
