And then there’s Alligator Wrestling! You heard the man. In a shaded 800 seater stadium, witness man against beast as a lucky member of the audience is selected to wrestle an eight foot crocodile! Only joking!

But Gatorland does have wranglers who are brave enough to do just that for your viewing pleasure. And we’re not joking when we tell you that the more adventurous among you can join the wrestlers in the ring for the all new Rookie Wrestlin’ Experience!

There’s also a breeding marsh with boardwalk and observation tower, one-of-a-kind reptilian shows, a miniature water park (kids - you’re gonna get soaked!), a flamingo lagoon, an aviary, snakes of Florida, a train ride and a petting zoo where you can touch and feed deer, tortoises, emus, llama, and goats.

Gatorland is just 15 minutes from Disneyland and Seaworld and is an excellent place to spend half a day if you are visiting Florida. It’s open 9.00am to 5.00pm every day, come rain or shine, and you’ll appreciate the free parking and lack of queues.
