Surrey Hills Llamas (telephone 01483 890 555) offer you the chance to spend some time walking with these beautiful animals in the North Downs around Ewhurst in Surrey - just 40 miles from London. It’s a designated Area Of Natural Beauty with llama walks tailored to meet the fitness and ability of those taking part.

The English Picnic Trek takes you through the beautiful Surrey hills with views right over the North Downs Way to the South Downs and on to the South Coast. The price for adults is £40 per person with senior citizens costing £40 each and children £27. A family ticket for two adults and two children is also available for £140.

For those who prefer a stroll to the pub instead of a trek through the countryside, you can amble along the River Wey towpath with your llama. Your destination is the 16th century Olde Ship Inn at St. Catherine’s where you can enjoy a delicious pizza from the wood burning oven. Tuesday evenings at 6pm from May through to September, this one’s adults only and costs £25 a head including food.
